I started my artistic journey as a painter. However, I have always felt space as a special category and recognized sculpture as the possibility that allows me to express myself in it. With sculptural expression, I feel freer, academically unburdened. This allows me to express the originality that I value in children, disabled people and natural peoples. In my research, I paved the way for the development of my own drawing, which is created impulsively, in large quantities and is my companion all the time. When I draw a line on paper or canvas, I can be overcome with an unknown pleasure. I also feel pleasure when my drawings on the curtains are the basis for the embroidery, which is then made by my mother. I try to keep them fresh, even though it is a slow, steady embroidery, which is in contrast to my drawing. I achieve this freshness with visible painting, which happens before the embroidery, but can also be done later.

I love art because it first allows me to get to know myself and then to communicate with the audience and get reactions. Because of art, people come my way who surprise me with their being. In the works that are created, I am always honest and open, because this is the only thing I know.

With sculpture, I feel freer, and academically unburdened. It brought me joy to not be burdened by an academic approach. This allows me to express a primordial sensitivity which I appreciate in children, mentally handicapped persons and people who live naturally. My research has paved the way for the development of my own drawing which is produced automatically in large quantities. This body of work is my permanent companion. As I draw a line across the paper or canvas, I can be overcome by immense joy. I feel the same pleasure when my drawings on curtains become the basis for embroideries which are then produced by my mother. I strive for them to retain a freshness, although it is slow-going.Embroidery is an insistent act which can be the opposite to my drawing.\n
